Feliz Navidad y un Prospero Año Nuevo!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
I hope you all had a great Christmas with your families! Mine was perfect! I loved being able to talk with my family through video call! Technology really is a blessing, even though it can be annoying sometimes, haha! Right now, we are teaching alot of families, and I think they have a lot of potential. They are all very humble, and very receptive to the message of the Restored Gospel! I know that there are miracles in this work every day, and that the Lord is always blessing his missionaries. I hope you all have a great New Year and enjoy making new goals, both personally and with your families!

Christmas Eve!

This week was crazy! We're teaching many investigators right now, and many are progressing. We now are teaching three families, all of which seem to have the potential to be baptized and sealed in the temple. This week was kinda hard because a lot of our appointments fell through, but I know there is a reason for everything, so maybe these people will listen to the Gospel from other missionaries. One of my converts, Hebert, has the Aaronic priesthood now, and is preparing to receive the Melchizedek priesthood. I'm about 3/4 done with Jesus the Christ, that book is awesome. Everything is going good, I'm just super busy like usual, haha!

Nathaniel

One week until Christmas!

Hello Everybody!
I hope all of you had a good week! This week was pretty good! I showed Elder Maravilla around our area, and then presented him to a majority of the members. We are getting along really good, which makes teaching lessons, and having the spirit with us easier. He has 20 months in the mission, so he knows a lot about what types of tracting work, and what we need to do to make the most of our time as missionaries. I've learned a lot from him this week. Many of our investigators are progressing, and our converts are all doing well. We met a family this week, the Gonzalez-Gutierrez family, who I think has a lot of potential, and I think they'll get baptized. Our ward mission leader told us that we could be baptizing the next bishop, so our goal has been to find more young men to baptize, because we've been having lots of success with children, but not much success with priesthood baptisms. I think that with Elder Maravilla, we will find lots of success. I hope you guys all remember the true spirit of Christmas during these next couple of weeks. Our Savior gave so much for us, so in this season of giving, make sure to remember to give service, or love to someone else, just like he did. I hope you all have a great week!

Love,
Nathaniel

New Companion, Elder Maravilla

Hello Everybody!
This week has been really good! I've been working super hard with Elder Rodriguez, because today was my transfer, so we were working hard to make sure the area is good for my new companion, Elder Maravilla from Nicaragua. This week, I had 3 baptisms. Thiara, Iblin, and Camile, who all loved their baptism. I think it's great to baptize children, because they get to grow up in the Gospel. I am grateful for all that I learned from Elder Rodriguez, but am glad to have a new companion and learn more from him as well. I have learned a lot in these past three months, and my testimony has been strengthened. I know this church is true, and that it can bless the lives of anyone that comes across it. The mission is going great, and I hope it's going good for all of you as well!

Love,
Elder May

Another Baptism!

Hello Everybody!
This week was really good! There isn't very much to say, because the majority of the week was teaching, and finding more people that want to listen to us. I baptized this week, so of course, that was great! Saving people's lives through the Gospel is such a rewarding experience. I baptized Rosita Carvajal and my companion baptized Hebert, her older Brother. I know that they both have a great future in the Gospel! This is my last week with Elder Rodriguez, I'm a little sad, but happy that I'll be able to learn more from another companion!

The first picture is from Saturday's Baptism, and the second picture is a picture of me and Elder Rodriguez on our last P-Day together.

Elder May
