Transfers!

Hi Everybody!
It's been a little while since I've sent a group email. These past few weeks have been full of adventures. I had my last week with Elder Maravilla, and then got my first area change. I learned a lot from Elder Maravilla, that I will be able to use throughout my mission. This past Monday, I received my new companion, Elder Yucra, who is from Cochabamba, Bolivia. He was in my zone beforehand, so I already knew him. He's a pretty good guy and a good companion. My new area is in the same stake/zone that I was in beforehand. This area is part of a new ward, so there is a lot of work to do. Thankfully, the people here are very receptive to the Gospel, and are willing to keep their commitments. This week, we have a conference with a member of the Seventy, which should be pretty good. I'm excited to be in a new area, and serving the Lord in more ways here in Bolivia. I hope you're all doing good! Keep doing whatever you can to bring the Lord's Restored Gospel to others, you'll be blessed because of it!

New Companion, Elder Yucra

Nathaniel didn't get a chance to send a group email this week.  He was transferred to a new area today.  Here are some great pictures.  I can tell the people of his previous area will miss him!  His new companion is Elder Yucra, and he had to say goodbye to Elder Maravilla.

Almost 4 months in Bolivia?!

Hello Everybody,
Time is seriously flying, I can't believe that I will have been in Bolivia for 4 months! This past week has been pretty good! We've been teaching lots of families, and have also been ministering with a less active family. We ate at their little street restaurant every night this week, and gained a lot of confidence with them. On Sunday, they came to church, which just shows that with a little love, anyone can go back into Christ's flock. This coming Monday, we have transfers. I can't believe this transfer is already over, it's gone by so fast! Elder Maravilla has been a great companion, and I've learned a lot from him. It's almost certain that one of us will leave the area,so I'll miss him, but I'm excited for the next adventure this mission holds for me! I'm truly amazed at how much I've changed in these past 5 months, becoming more scripture and Gospel oriented. This Gospel has blessed me so much, and it makes me so happy to see it blessing the lives of the people here! I hope you are all doing well, and that you can all find your own way to bring the joyfullness of the Gospel to others.

Love,
Elder May

5 Months Already!

This week was great! I was able to teach a lot of people this week. Many of my investigators are progressing. I had a companionship exchange with Elder Weech, my district leader. He lives in Snowflake, Arizona, but he actually lived in our neighborhood like 13 years ago, small world, right?? He's a pretty cool guy, and it was fun to have a gringo companion for a day. The baptism this Saturday was really good! It was probably my easiest baptism yet. She was very calm. Two hour church was good, but it felt weird, especially because I'm used to three hours of 2:00 church in the mission. We met with a lot of the members, and recent converts. I hope you all enjoyed your last week of winter vacation and do well in your first week back at school!

Love,
Nathaniel
