Elder May seems to be enjoying Bermejo! He and his companion are doing well and teaching some new investigators.
Here he is with Elder Brovo on a companionship exchange in Miraflores. Here is an excerpt from his family email about it:
The majority of the appointments that we had planned fell through, so we just knocked a lot of doors. We had an appointment with this guy named Carlos who apparently had a fecha (baptism date) for last Saturday, the 20th. We read some of the Book of Mormon, and I didn't think much of it because no one told me that he had the fecha. I learned on Saturday that he was super unsure about getting baptized, but after his appointment on Tuesday, was absolutely certain that he wanted to get baptized. Elder Murphy, my district leader, told me that I performed a miracle in his area. It felt good to see the Lord making me an instrument in his hands even though it wasn't my own area.

Adventures in Bermejo
Elder May and Elder Tyra had some time to explore in Bermejo, and went to visit this waterfall called El Toro.

New Area, Bermejo, and New Companion, Elder Tyra
Elder May had to say goodbye to Elder Santana and all the people in the ward who love him. He was there for a long time and will miss everyone, but it is good for him to go to a new area.

Elder May finally has his first companion from the United States, since the MTC anyway. He is glad to have someone to speak English with. It has been great for him to have so many Spanish-speaking companions, because it really helped him learn the language. His new companion is Elder Tyra, and he is now in Bermejo, which is in the southern part of Bolivia. It is very close to Argentina. He had to take two planes and a three hour bus ride to get there.
