Fun in Bolivia

Hey Everybody,
It's been a good few weeks down here in South America! Throughout all my mission, people have told me that the people will listen to you when it's their time, and when they're ready. I've been in this area for a LONG time, and in my first transfer here, there were lots of investigators that didn't want to listen to us anymore for various reasons, but in these past two weeks, we've been receiving lots of calls from old investigators to go and visit them again. People have also stopped us on the street to go back and visit them. It's really strengthened my testimony that everyone has their own time. We've been working a lot with the less actives in our area, because they almost always have children or other family members that would like to hear about the Gospel. This week, I had a companionship exchange with another Latino in my district, which was useful to help practice my Spanish a little bit more. It's always cool to hear the different Spanish accents and slang that all the missionaries have here. On Saturday, we were able to put a baptismal date with the daughter of a less active member, whose name is Mayelin. I'm hoping that through her baptism, her family will reactivate. I've been studying the New Testament a lot lately, especially the four Gospels, and have been able to learn a lot from them. Every time that I read a miracle done by Jesus, my testimony of his divine mission is strengthened. I know he is my Savior, and I challenge you all to study the four Gospels as well. I know this church is true, without a single doubt. I'll send a couple of pictures from my week, just to show our fun times together!

Love,
Elder May
